Confidence Building Vocal Tuition & Weekly Performances

Do you love to sing? British School of Rock offers engaging and enjoyable weekly singing lessons for kids and teens aged 8 - 18 in Surrey and Middlesex.

Our classes have a maximum of five students per instructor. Every singing lesson starts with group tuition with your vocal instructor. In addition to weekly music theory, the last 15 minutes of every class sees the singers perform the song they've been working on with the bass players, drummers and guitarists, together in a real live rock band!

All singing lessons are taught by music graduates who work both as singing instructors and as live stage performers. All our instructors have enhanced DBS clearance.

British School of Rock combines expert music tuition with the joy of actually playing in a band each week alongside your friends. We welcome singers of all abilities, both male and female.

We believe passionately in music's ability to enhance a young person's confidence and happiness. It is so much more than an 'activity'. An appreciation of music and the ability to play an instrument is a gift that lasts a lifetime.

Our Vocal Lesson Structure

Each singing lesson lasts for an hour. Initially you will be learning songs/ focusing on technique and style - with some relevant music theory thrown in for good measure. The final 15 minutes are spent performing the songs with the other students in a live band.

Playing in a band takes that one step further, building essential life skills including confidence, communication, cooperation, negotiation and, of course, friendship.
