Successful BritFest applicants will receive an information pack in June. This will tell them their band allocation and a list of songs, unique to their band, that they must learn themselves in advance of the course. They will also need to communicate with their band members before the course starts in order to make band decisions.

During the first four days they will be allocated their band manager, work with a professional stylist and performance coach and spend time on stage working with a producer. Interspersed with song analysis and set list arrangements are intensive band tuition sessions aided by their specialist instructors. There will be an opportunity to submit an original song by your band (subject to prior approval from the course director) On the Friday morning there will be a band sitzprobe together with meetings with the sound engineer, the camera crew and the Stills photographer. After final soundchecks there will be a short break before the concert doors open.
