Successful BritFest applicants will receive an information pack in June. This will tell them their band allocation and give them a list of six songs, unique to their band, that they must learn themselves to a good standard in advance of the course.

During the first four days they will be allocated their band manager, work with a professional stylist and a performance coach and spend time on stage working with a producer. Interspersed with song analysis and set list arrangements are intensive band tuition sessions with their specialist instructors. There are daily structured rehearsal sessions. On the Friday morning there will be a sitzprobe for each band together with meetings with the sound engineer, the camera crew and the stills photographer. After final soundchecks there will be a short break before the concert doors open.
